Josh Miller is a super bowl champion NFL punter and National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame inductee who played in the league for 13 years. After retiring in 2008, Miller became a football analyst, hosting The Fan 93.7 on Pittsburgh’s CBS Radio. Miller also co-authored the book, Always a Home Game, about a journey across the country visiting local Steelers bars in other NFL markets.

In addition to his sports career, Josh Miller has been an active supporter of his local community and non-profit causes. Some of the causes he supports include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALS), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

The show, “A Day in the Life” was a collaborative idea between Josh Miller and Domenic A. Mantella, a sports management and marketing expert. The shows gives a behind the scenes peek into professional athletes’ lives away from their day jobs. Miller and Mantella hope to contrast the negative impression given of athletes by news headlines with stories of other athletes who are doing good in their local communities without publicity or notice.
